in 2020 J N Blesh Surveying LLC acquired Hilling Land Surveying files. William C. Hilling, PLS was a highly accomplished surveyor having performed thousands of jobs over decades of practice. Bill entrusted John with his portfolio and John continues to share Hilling files with colleagues in an effort to perpetuate Bill's legacy.

Fieldwork is an important part of the process. Many people would be surprised to learn that the fieldwork often only accounts for a small portion of the overall scope. Much more time is spent on research, analysis, drafting, etc.

An interesting example of a boundary monument. Paper knives were large knives used to cut newspapers, likely it was acquired from the Lock Haven Express. An important thing to note here is whether it is an original monument.
